Sustainability planning
Sustainable buildings embody our customers’ understanding of sustainable development. For this reason, the focus areas are not the same for every customer. Together with the customer, we work out what individual form the environmental, economic and social sustainability considerations are going to take. From this, we define the parameters for the competition phase and monitor their implementation, from design through to realisation. We assist you in the planning and realisation of buildings which comply with Minergie-P-Eco, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), 2000-Watt Society, WWF One Planet Living and GeNaB (Gesamtbeurteilung Nachhaltiges Bauen – total evaluation of sustainable construction) standards.

Building technology planning
As project manager for building technology, we assume planning responsibility for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, sanitation, electrics and measurement and control. We are committed to sustainability and develop environmentally and economically balanced solutions. Our in-house planning experts cover the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitation planning. In selected projects we act as a general contractor for building technology, assuming the entire responsibility for implementation, including an active cost, deadline and quality guarantee.

As operational and logistics planner, we help you develop and optimise your core processes in a sustainable way. We carry out process analyses and plan and optimise goods flows in order to develop solutions for building technology and construction.

General planning for industry
As general contractor, we assume overall responsibility for planning your industrial project, from the feasibility study right through to handover of the completed construction ready for occupancy. We manage the entire project team, thus providing a guarantee for costs, deadlines and quality. The simple project structure with only one contact partner enables you, the customer, to steer the project efficiently.

Energy management
Optimising energy consumption and CO2 emissions makes a significant contribution to sustainable development. Based on a thorough analysis, we identify the key energy and CO2 consumers, evaluate the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, electric and measurement and control facilities, calculate the reduction potential and highlight prioritised technical and economic implementation measures. We then realise that potential in collaboration with our customers by optimising existing facilities or making structural modifications. We ensure the forecasted reduction by means of performance control based on measurement data and long-term consumption monitoring.

Simulations
Developing sophisticated solutions in terms of functionality and costs requires the use of sophisticated planning instruments. Using our simulation tools, we can study the building’s thermal properties as they interact with the technical installations, address questions of comfort with air flow simulations based on CFD (computational fluid dynamics) or verify smoke extraction systems.
