Dialogue with employees
Implenia is convinced of the value of open and direct communication.
It encourages employees to identify with corporate goals and ensures that employees understand and support business decisions. All of Implenia's managers are thus required to actively seek out dialogue with their staff. In addition, the company has various internal communication tools and channels that are deployed depending on what needs to achieved with the information − including the employee magazine "Impact", the intranet, regular employee events and electronic newsletters. The Sustainability Newsletter was launched in 2010 to inform employees about the progress of the "Implenia Sustainability" project.
Two-way communication, not a one-way street. Direct contact between members of the executive committee and employees has a special role to play when it comes to providing information about objectives, values and key developments at Implenia. At the same time, employee feedback and input is an important source of information for the executive committee. As a result, Implenia created a new platform where the CEO can exchange ideas and information with employees. An electronic mailbox for direct questions to the executive committee was set up, for example, to complement the CEO newsletter "Persönlich" (Personal). A reference group for personal discussion about internal issues with employees was also established that meets with the CEO at regular intervals.
